@rechner honestly, going through this and seeing why this is happening was really cool to learn and sort of helped me get a more practical example of how EDNS works, so thanks for sharing all of it! I dunno where I come down on it-- archive.is has useful information, but what business reason could they have for needing IP information? Also, would them having IP information be bad? I can go either way on it tbh.
It does seem to be the go-to host for more unsavoury parts of the internet
@rechner This is true. I do think that they make such a big deal about being "ideologically neutral" and then they look like asses when all of the violent racist/xenophobic/whatever groups end up using their services. There's only so many times that the daily stormer can be removed from cloudflare before they are just outright complicit with that message
